ESARDA at a Glance

ESARDA is an association of European organisations formed to advance and harmonise research and development in the area of safeguards. It also provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas between nuclear facility operators, safeguards authorities and persons engaged in research and development. ESARDA was formed in 1969 with the purpose of facilitating collaboration in R&D in the field of safeguards and in the application of such R&D to the safeguarding of source and special fissile materials.

2017 Symposium Call for Papers

The 39th ESARDA Annual Meeting will be a symposium on Safeguards and Nuclear Non-Proliferation, held at the Meliá Hotel Düsseldorf, Germany, from 16 - 18 May 2017. The Symposium will be preceded by meetings of the ESARDA Working Groups and Committees at Forschungszentrum on 15 May 2017.

The Call for Papers for next year's ESARDA Symposium is now available on the event page. We invite you all to submit an abstract to this prestigious event.

By sending an abstract, the authors confirm having their organisation's approval for public release and agree to submit a paper suitable for inclusion in the symposium's proceedings and to present that paper at the symposium. Authors are requested to respect the deadline to give the Symposium Committee sufficient time to review all abstracts and to compose the Symposium programme.
