2026 ESARDA Annual Meeting and Joint ESARDA/INMM Workshop on SMRs/AMRs

We are very delighted to announce that the next ESARDA Annual Meeting will take place in Luxembourg (European Convention Center) from 18^th to 20^th of May 2026. This event will feature the first day the closed traditional ESARDA Executive Board and Steering Committee meetings, as well as a meeting of the International Safeguards Division (ISD) of the INMM (still to be confirmed). 

The second and third day will be allocated to Open Plenary Sessions and ESARDA Working Group Meetings. We will value during this Annual Meeting the possibility to open to a broader audience participation to the ESARDA Working Group Meetings.

The ESARDA/INMM Joint Workshop on Safeguards by Design on SMRs and AMRs will also take place in the European Convention Center from 21st to 22nd of May 2026. This event will be organized in the margins of the Annual Meeting and will be connected to it. For this event, we will also value a hight level of participation from the industrial sector. We hope to bring together the community to tackle with the technical challenges and opportunities around safeguards for Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and Advanced Modular Reactors (AMRs). Topics of interest will include Safeguards by Design, safeguards techniques and approaches, 3S interfaces and export controls considerations.

Participation to these events is free of charge and will be limited to 200 people.
